Our client, a family-owned company specializing in the distribution of fertilizer, chemicals, grass seeds, and ice melt products, is seeking a Warehouse Manager. They have a strong commitment to customer service and reliable delivery, and pride themselves on maintaining a close-knit team environment while managing high-volume, seasonal business demands.
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth workflow between multiple facilities. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, seasonal environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead warehouse personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Oversee inventory management, tracking, and optimization for accuracy and efficiency.

Handle receiving and unloading of products from vendors.
-
Coordinate and schedule product deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.

Manage warehouse transfers and communication between multiple locations.
-
Track and coordinate fleet maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety.
-
Maintain building and warehouse facilities.
-
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.

Utilize and manage ERP system for inventory, ordering, and workflow tracking.

Effectively manage high-volume, seasonal demand periods to ensure operational success.

Monitor and place product orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse management experience.

Prior experience managing warehouse personnel.

Knowledge of fleet management and maintenance coordination.

Forklift operation skills (certification preferred).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.

Mechanical aptitude for equipment and facility-related issues.

Proactive, self-starter with minimal need for oversight.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Bilingual communication skills.

Experience with building maintenance.

Background in warehouse inventory optimization and organization.
Compensation – Up to $70,000 salary target + an annual bonus based on company performance
