Senior Data Engineer (12-month Contract)
Are you a seasoned Data Engineer with a passion for architecting robust, scalable data solutions in the cloud? We’re partnering with a technology-driven team on a Lakehouse transformation project and are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the buildout and optimization of modern, cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure.
Location: Remote OR Hybrid in Nashville, TN
Contract Duration: 12 months
Nashville-based candidates open to a hybrid schedule (3–4 days on-site per week, rotating Mon–Thurs with Fridays remote) are preferred!
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Supporting a Lakehouse project with a high-visibility data team
- Collaborating daily with a team of 5+ engineers and developers
- Participating in weekly cross-functional Agile Scrum-style team meetings involving business users, product managers, and global teammates
- Building, tuning, and maintaining complex data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native applications
Must-Have Experience:
- 5+ years of AWS experience, including Redshift and Aurora Postgres
- 7+ years of SQL development, performance tuning, and stored procedures with:
- Aurora Postgres
- Oracle
- Redshift
Bonus Points If You:
- Are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across time zones
- Have experience in Agile Scrum environments
- Are open to a technical evaluation (required for all interview finalists)
