This hybrid role is based in Newport Beach, CA and offers visibility across departments, access to leadership, and the ability to make process improvements that matter.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly and annual close activities with speed and precision
- Conduct deep-dive financial analysis and complex reconciliations
- Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement prep
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, including ASC 842 and other key standards
- Manage audit support and documentation for tax and regulatory filings
- Provide accounting guidance to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to system implementations and streamline reporting processes
- Mentor junior accounting team members
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA highly preferred
- 6+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Proven track record in financial analysis and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Concur, Great Plains, or Business Central is a plus
- Solid understanding of lease accounting and revenue recognition
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team
