As an EPIC HB Analyst, you will serve as the subject matter expert in hospital billing workflows, focusing on optimizing system functionality, resolving issues, and supporting end users. This role is key in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing denials, and improving the overall billing process.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, and maintain EPIC HB applications to support system upgrades, new initiatives, and ongoing improvements
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for hospital billing and claims modules
- Conduct system audits and analyze billing data to identify opportunities for process enhancement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
Qualifications:
- EPIC certification is required
- Associate’s degree or higher is required
- 2+ years of experience working as an EPIC Analyst or in a similar application support role
- Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle workflows, claims management, and system integration
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a remote environment
