LaSalle Network is hiring a Remote Network Consultant to support a large-scale wireless infrastructure upgrade across multiple U.S. locations. This high-impact initiative will migrate 77 sites and 153 access points from Cisco Flex Connect to Aruba wireless, centrally managed through Aruba Central. The role is 100% remote and offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical configuration and cutover support for a highly visible enterprise project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Aruba access points in Aruba Central (AOS 10), including group and site setup
- Associate access points to appropriate groups and sites
- Configure SSIDs based on established standards
- Provide remote cutover support to ensure all APs are online with static IP and hostname assignments completed
- Validate successful test cases during cutovers
- Ensure group firmware compliance per approved software versions
- Collaborate with project management and site contacts to align cutover schedules and execute configurations
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of hands-on Aruba Central experience, specifically with AOS 10 wireless configurations
- 3–5 years of networking experience, including VLANs, SSIDs, wireless AP technology, and Layer 2/3 switching
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work standard business hours in Eastern or Central time zones
