Quality Assurance Lead 

A global food packaging equipment manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee inspection, compliance, and product quality across manufacturing and customer operations in North America. This role ensures adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives that support manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

This position is 100% on-site. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality assurance activities for incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products.

  • Identify and document non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce inspection criteria, testing protocols, and documentation procedures.

  • Manage supplier quality performance, including audits and feedback on material or process issues.

  • Support regulatory and internal audits by maintaining accurate and compliant records.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Train and mentor team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and compliance practices.

  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

  • Strong understanding of CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality control systems.

  • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems and proficiency in data documentation and reporting.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a collaborative approach.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.

This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional passionate about ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and product reliability.

Compensation: $65,000 to $80,000. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
