LaSalle Network is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Evanston to hire an Accounting Coordinator! This part-time, hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing detail-oriented accounting work with meaningful impact. You’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations—AP, AR, payroll—and even contribute to month-end close using QuickBooks.
This hybrid opportunity requires three days on-site and offers 20–25 hours per week.
Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing for clients, payment tracking, and maintaining donor records in QuickBooks
- Process bi-weekly payroll for both full time and part-time employees
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and external consultants to support financial coordination, data entry, and reporting
- Handle billing and payment tracking for service participants and partner programs
- Assist with journal entries and the month-end close process
- Provide cross-functional financial support across internal teams
Accounting Coordinator Requirements:
- 3+ years of AP/AR and payroll experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Understanding of journal entries and month-end close support
- Experience processing payroll for a mixed employee base
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Nonprofit experience and Excel proficiency are a plus
