LaSalle Network is hiring for an eBilling Manager to lead strategic billing operations for a global law firm client with an office in the Chicago Loop. 

This hybrid leadership role is a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, process improvement, and people management. You’ll oversee a team of six, serve as the firm’s point of contact for eBilling platforms, and spearhead implementation projects for new and transitioning clients. We’re looking for someone who can think big, execute with precision, and bring clarity to complex workflows.

This role is back in the office 3x a week in the Loop and is budgeted up to a base of $145,000 with additional bonus eligibility. 

 

eBilling Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead all new eBilling client implementations and client transitions
  • Serve as the firm’s technical lead and internal expert for all eBilling systems (e.g., BillBlast, CounselLink, Collaborati, etc.)
  • Manage vendor relationships and access across global billing platforms
  • Supervise six eBilling Administrators, including remote team members
  • Set departmental priorities and ensure timely execution of daily and monthly tasks
  • Deliver training, feedback, and guidance to support team performance
  • Maintain and document eBilling procedures, client profiles, and rate submissions
  • Oversee departmental communications and ensure quick turnaround for requests
  • Analyze and improve internal billing practices for greater efficiency and accuracy

 

eBilling Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in billing, legal operations, or accounting
  • 3+ years of legal eBilling experience (law firm or legal department), required
  • Prior people management experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of eBilling platforms and LEDES/XML formats
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Elite, Aderant, and InTapp is a plus
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • Able to multitask, manage deadlines, and drive results independently
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 plus bonus.  A comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
