As the Transportation Director, you’ll guide a dedicated team of managers, drivers, and support staff to keep their operations running smoothly, safely, and on time. What You’ll Do:

Lead and inspire Transportation Managers and their teams, fostering a culture of safety, service excellence, and accountability.

Oversee daily outbound shipments to customers and other distribution centers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.

Build, coach, and develop leaders to achieve both short-term goals and long-term strategies.

Implement process improvements, reduce waste, and introduce new technology to boost efficiency and service quality.

Partner with other departments to strengthen relationships and drive operational success across the organization.

Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements.

Attract and retain top talent, maintaining the right headcount to meet service demands.

Resolve delivery challenges with cost-effective, customer-focused solutions.
What You’ll Bring:

7+ years of transportation or delivery management experience.

Proven leadership skills in developing and managing leaders and large teams.

Strong knowledge of transportation operations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Ability to interpret operational and financial data to drive performance.

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, people-first mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with route planning and logistics tools.

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
