Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for plastics manufacturing? Our client is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to join their team in the Elgin, IL area. In this pivotal role, you will lead our sales efforts, drive market growth, and manage key customer relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to shape sales strategy, mentor a dedicated team, and contribute directly to the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Operations: Manage and nurture leads, analyze sales data, and align strategies with market conditions to identify growth opportunities.

  • Drive Customer Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for our most important customers, resolving issues and ensuring their needs are met. You will also represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team of two, conducting performance evaluations and ensuring a high level of productivity and operational efficiency.

  • Manage Administration & Reporting: Utilize data and reporting tools to track sales activities and performance metrics, providing the executive team with insights and recommendations.

  • A seasoned sales and marketing professional with a strong background in the plastics manufacturing industry.

  • A natural leader who excels at motivating and developing a team.

  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategy.
