Client Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Oversee daily operations, calendar management, and special payments
- Review and sign off on all financial reports, reconciliations, and vendor changes
- Approve disbursements and manage treasury functions
- Contribute to annual budgets and settlement schedules
- Lead new project transitions in collaboration with clients and internal departments
- Act as a key resource for MRI, Yardi, and other accounting systems
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and audit teams
Client Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
- 5+ years in property management accounting
- 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Advanced understanding of GAAP and financial principles
- Proficiency in MRI, Yardi, or equivalent real estate accounting tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
