Business Unit Director of IT
LaSalle Network is hiring a Business Unit Director of IT, a high-impact leadership role overseeing mission-critical digital technologies and shaping the future of next-generation manufacturing. This leader will guide strategy, execution, and innovation across IT operations, driving resilience, agility, and performance for advanced vehicle production programs.
The ideal candidate is both a visionary and an operator—capable of designing secure, future-ready systems while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and people-first leadership. This role partners closely with business unit leaders and technology executives to deliver Industry 4.0 solutions that accelerate efficiency, enhance reliability, and future-proof operations.

Business Unit Director of IT Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT strategy and operations across manufacturing and delivery programs, ensuring uptime, reliability, and security of mission-critical systems
  • Oversee multiple IT teams, driving performance, career development, and digital leadership capabilities
  • Implement and mature smart factory initiatives including IoT, MES/SCADA, robotics, edge computing, and AI/ML
  • Collaborate with corporate technology leaders to execute a two-year digital strategy roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, IT governance, and audit standards, maintaining defense-grade requirements
  • Manage budgets, ROI analysis, and value realization across digital transformation initiatives
  • Act as a change agent for continuous improvement and organizational agility, aligning IT capabilities with evolving business imperatives

Business Unit Director of IT Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of IT leadership experience, including 5+ years managing teams
  • Proven expertise in IT strategy, financial planning, digital transformation, and governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT)
  • Strong knowledge of smart factory, ERP, and advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Excellent leadership, storytelling, and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
  • Active experience with agile methodologies, data analytics, and risk management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree
  • Background with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
