LaSalle Network is partnering with a mission-driven HR team in Oak Brook, IL, to hire a Benefits Specialist! This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a knack for organization, and a passion for making benefits work better for employees and their families.
This position supports an HR team focused on delivering exceptional service to a diverse employee base and evolving programs to support both operational efficiency and meaningful employee experiences. The role begins with a strong emphasis on benefits administration, with a clear path toward deeper involvement in compensation strategy and analytics.
Benefits Specialist Responsibilities:

Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and more

Reconcile benefits invoices and maintain alignment across platforms

Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee life cycle processes

Assist with compensation efforts like salary benchmarking and survey participation

Maintain and audit employee records within ADP or similar HRIS
-
Generate reports and insights around benefits utilization and trends
-
Identify and champion process improvements

Act as a go-to resource for employee questions related to benefits and policies
Benefits Specialist Requirements:

1–3 years of experience in benefits administration; exposure to compensation is a plus

Familiarity with ADP or comparable HRIS

High attention to detail, especially when working with numbers and reconciliations
-
Comfortable working with data and producing reports
-
Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments
-
Located in Chicagoland with the ability to commute to Oak Brook post-August 11
