The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing AR, AP, and treasury processes while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. As the company scales its U.S. footprint, this person will be key in building a compliant, efficient, and high-performing accounting operation.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage all operational accounting activities: AR, AP, and Cash/Treasury
- Ensure SOX-compliant processes and internal controls are in place and maintained
- Drive month-end close and reconciliation activities across multiple entities
- Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistent reporting and accounting practices
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and reporting
- Supervise and support junior team members to ensure development and accuracy
- Serve as a point of contact for audit and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and operational accounting functions
- Experience in manufacturing or global supply chain environments highly preferred
- Strong systems and process mindset, ERP experience required
- Leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
