Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role will own key functions like month-end close, journal entries, and reporting compliance. Accountant Responsibilities:
- Own journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Track fixed assets, leases, and payroll-related financials
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis
- Support internal and external audits through documentation and controls
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity
Accountant Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Manufacturing or Distribution industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency with Sage or a comparable ERP
- Strong understanding of GAAP; IFRS knowledge a plus
- Hands-on experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and close processes
