The Senior Collections Specialist will be onsite 5 days a week in Oak Brook with potential for a hybrid schedule down the line. Our client is hoping to have someone start ASAP and brings prior experience with loan collections.
Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of past-due consumer loan accounts and negotiate payment solutions.

Handle escalated or complex cases requiring advanced communication and problem-solving.

Mentor and support other team members to improve performance and effectiveness.

Ensure all collection activities comply with FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and company policies.

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate account trends to management.
What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience in consumer loan collections.

Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.

Proficiency with collection systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
This position pays between $70,000-$90,000 base salary with eligibility for bonus.
