This is a hybrid role reporting to the Brentwood office.
Research Specialist Responsibilities:

Support Collections objectives by executing established policies and procedures

Process returned payments with accuracy and efficiency
-
Research and reconcile outstanding accounts to resolve billing discrepancies
-
Investigate and correct misapplied or misposted payments
-
Assist both internal teams and external customers with billing and collections-related questions
-
Resolve customer billing disputes in a professional and timely manner
-
Perform other job-related duties as needed to meet departmental goals and objectives
Research Specialist Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required; some college strongly preferred
-
2–3 years of experience in collections and/or customer service required
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a goal-oriented mindset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
-
Strong computer and typing skills with high attention to detail
-
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-
Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal departments and external customers
