Why This Role is Valuable
The Supply Chain Temp will support the customer service and inventory teams by performing essential administrative and coordination tasks. This includes customer order and transfer data entry, purchase order (PO) management, sample requests, and generating internal inventory reports. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a fast-learning mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility

PO Management: Order entry, accuracy confirmation, stock allocation, and monitoring for compliance (e.g., lead times, order quantity, delivery schedule)

Internal Transfer Orders: Data entry and coordination with third-party carriers and warehouses

Sample Requests: Handle marketing and sales sample orders; manage office cheese/butter supply replenishments

Issue Resolution: Work with third-party warehouses, brokers, and logistics providers to resolve operational issues

Reporting: Generate and maintain internal inventory reports
Key Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

High attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer)

Experience in customer service and supply chain functions

Background in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus
