Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Lead accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal vouchers and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Analyze and communicate consolidated and divisional performance against forecasts and prior periods
- Develop new analyses and reporting tools to better understand business performance
- Produce and distribute internal financial reports
- Maintain strong internal controls to ensure policy compliance
- Support internal and external audits
- Participate in rolling forecasts of SG&A expenses
- Perform additional analytical, accounting, and operational support as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 3–7+ years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Compensation is based on an hourly rate of $50-$55 per hour, depending on experience, skill set, and contract terms.
