LaSalle Network is hiring a Configuration Technician for our client, a fast-growing technology services company in Vernon Hills, IL. This is an entry-level opportunity to join a high-volume configurations center, installing and setting up hardware and software for a variety of customer systems. Configuration Technician Responsibilities:

Configure customer systems, including computers, printers, and related products, to required specifications
-
Test systems to ensure quality standards are met
-
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues
-
Maintain productivity goals while meeting accuracy expectations
-
Communicate order-related issues to the Help Desk or Team Leader
-
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
-
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
-
Occasionally work beyond scheduled shifts, including overtime when required
Configuration Technician Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED required; A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge preferred

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally (team lift for loads over 50 pounds)

Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods

Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise
-
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
-
Ability to follow instructions and apply common sense to tasks

Willingness to travel as needed
