LaSalle Network is hiring a CR IMS Support Analyst to join the global technology and operations support team of a top-tier asset management organization. This newly created position is designed for a subject matter expert who can provide hands-on, end-to-end support for the Charles River Investment Management System (CR IMS) and ensure seamless front-to-back investment operations.
This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, providing direct support to investment professionals, traders, compliance, and operations teams across asset classes.
CR IMS Support Analyst Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical and functional support contact for Charles River IMS (CRD) users across portfolio management, trading, compliance, and operations
- Troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with CRD, internal IT teams, and external vendor partners to resolve incidents
- Monitor system performance, data quality, and trading workflows, addressing disruptions and anomalies proactively
- Lead incident triage and contribute to the stability, performance, and evolution of the investment systems ecosystem
- Manage and track recurring issues and platform defects using JIRA, Salesforce, or similar tools
- Configure CRD workflows and conduct regression testing in lower environments for platform updates and patches
- Coordinate and support software upgrades, disaster recovery testing, and platform enhancement efforts
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and data feeds
- Provide user training and documentation to enhance platform usage and effectiveness
- Participate in vendor management, including platform assessments, service reviews, and audit responses
- Stay informed on CR IMS platform updates and industry best practices to drive platform optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years in a support, systems analyst, or business analyst role within investment or asset management technology
- Hands-on experience with Charles River IMS (version 17.x or newer) required
- Strong understanding of investment workflows: trade order management, compliance, post-trade operations
- Proficiency with T-SQL (joins, aggregations, troubleshooting SQL queries)
- Familiarity with trading systems and protocols (e.g., Portware, Bloomberg EMSX, FXAll, FIX)
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure or AWS), desktop virtualization, and basic networking
- Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL frameworks for managing incidents, changes, and problems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience supporting trading floor environments
- Experience with Excel macros, Bloomberg API integrations, or workflow configuration a plus
Preferred:
- Charles River University training or bootcamp (version 17R1 onward)
- CFA Level I or similar investment certification (completed or in progress)
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience supporting multi-asset trading environments and buy-side front office systems
