Customs Broker – Entry Writer Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit U.S. Customs entries in compliance with federal regulations
- Review incoming documents for accuracy and completeness; ensure compliance with all U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) requirements including FDA and USDA
- Communicate proactively with importers, carriers, agents, warehouses, and internal compliance teams
- Maintain accurate importer files to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and transmit documentation to government agencies such as FDA, USDA, and others as required
Customs Broker – Entry Writer Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs entry writing
- Familiarity with U.S. Customs product classification and regulatory compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on proactive customer service
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Cargowise is a plus
