LaSalle Network is excited to be partnering with a rapidly expanding company headquartered in Chicago that’s seeking a strategic and experienced Collections Manager. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact, foundational role where you’ll help build and scale the collections department from day one.
You’ll be the cornerstone of collections operations—establishing processes, managing performance, and eventually helping grow the team as the organization continues its upward trajectory.
Collections Manager Responsibilities:

Conduct and oversee high-volume collection efforts, using phone and email to drive timely payments

Establish and meet monthly collections KPIs in alignment with leadership goals

Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define customer payment standards and practices

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers with outstanding balances

Resolve billing issues, negotiate terms, and foster long-term customer relationships

Maintain DSO targets and analyze aging reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

Recommend escalation strategies for severely delinquent accounts, including legal action
-
Create detailed collection reports to inform business decisions and optimize workflow
Collections Manager Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of B2B collections management experience

Familiarity with ERP platforms (Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel proficiency

Experience in environments impacted by mergers or acquisitions is advantageous

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills

Strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Comfortable with fast-paced operations and evolving company structures
