Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate account fluctuations
- Match and reconcile purchase orders, ensuring policy compliance
- Process billing and align revenue with source systems
- Reconcile weekly/monthly cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Assist with accounts receivable/payable and ad hoc tasks as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience (month-end, reconciliations, audits)
- Public accounting experience preferred (1+ year)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Adaptability in a multi-system, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
