Cloud Engineer
LaSalle Network is hiring a Cloud Engineer to join a high-impact cloud services team in Nashville, TN! This hybrid role is perfect for an AWS-certified engineer who thrives in agile environments and knows how to lead through influence, collaboration, and sharp technical chops. You’ll architect, automate, and optimize mission-critical infrastructure using modern AWS tooling—and you’ll help shape the cloud strategy of an entire organization.

Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate robust AWS environments that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
- Architect and deploy IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions using AWS Serverless technologies
- Develop infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and automate with Bash and Python
- Define cloud strategies, document best practices, and mentor teammates and business users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployments and business processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and performance issues
- Support CI/CD pipeline development with GitLab and integrate cloud networking solutions
- Regularly assess and improve existing cloud infrastructure and databases
Cloud Engineer Requirements:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- 5+ years AWS Cloud operations experience; 4+ years with AWS Serverless
- 3+ years with CloudFormation, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting in Bash or Python
- Deep experience automating infrastructure tasks and maintaining secure systems
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive cloud excellence
- Experience with database infrastructure and cloud networking
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with Azure, PowerShell, or AI/ML technologies
