LaSalle Network is partnering with a well-established, family-oriented company that’s looking to add a dependable Payroll & Benefits Specialist to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who values stability, consistency, and ownership of their work in a collaborative, traditional office environment.
Due to a planned transition, the current Payroll & Benefits Administrator will be stepping away toward the end of summer to care for family. The company is seeking a smooth handoff and cross-training period to ensure continuity for payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting.
Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently (approx. 3–4 hours per cycle), with final approval from the CFO

Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits administration, including coordinating with vendors and brokers and leading annual open enrollment

Manage compliance reporting, including EEOC and 401(k) audits

Respond to employee questions related to payroll and benefits

Maintain up-to-date records and work closely with the HR Manager and CFO as needed

Operate independently and own this function from start to finish
Ideal Candidate:

2+ years of experience in both payroll processing and benefits administration

Comfortable working independently and owning processes from start to finish

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to deadlines

Experience collaborating with benefits vendors and brokers
-
Familiarity with compliance reporting (EEOC, 401(k), etc.)

Someone who enjoys being dependable and steady, whether early in their career or a seasoned professional looking for a stable role

Open to working fully onsite Tuesday–Thursday (or as needed, per company policy)
